15 Feb 2008 - St Valentine's Dance

On Friday 15th February, Lodge Galen welcomed Brethen and friends to their second Annual Dance, which this year, took  the form of a St Valentine's Disco.

The venue was again Whitevale Bowling club in Dennistoun, and proved to be an even bigger success than last year.   With nearly 100 in attendance, Brethen and friends were treated to an excellent evenings entertainment. which everyone said was a most enjoyable evening.  But with such good company, (a very reasonably priced bar) and a raffle prize won by even table, it was difficult not to enjoy.  A big thanks to everyone who came along and also to the staff of the Club ,and in particular Adrain, for making us feel most welcome. 

A special note of thanks to Past master Bro.Robert Kennedy (and his wife) for all the hard work in orginising the function, and for the lovely touch of the roses for all the ladies.
